As a fellow in the 2022-2023 Poynter/Stand-Together Media Fellowship, I learned valuable early-career skills from the weekly sessions and two in-person summits. I worked and learned alongside fellow early career journalists across the country.

The fellowship provided me with critical skills and learning experiences and also provided a stipend to my newsroom.

​My innovation project for the fellowship is a series called Main Streets Utah, in which I explore the state's central thoroughfares from a historic and modern lens.
